How do I clear my browser cache?

Last Updated: Sep 03, 2015 10:39AM EDT
Many times, clearing the browser cache on your computer can fix many issues you may be having with inMotion.

Note: What is a cache? A cache is great for computer speed! See, when you visit a web page, your browser saves a temporary copy of it on your computer in a place called the "cache" which helps your computer load it quicker on future visits. Sometimes there are conflicts if the cached copy is outdated, so clearing it can help you access inMotion properly.

The browsers we recommend are the most recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and IE. Here's how to clear the cache for each!

  • Click Chrome Menu button on the browser toolbar
  • Select "Tools"
  • Select "Clear browsing data"
  • Check the boxes for "Cookies" and other site/plug-in data and "Cached images and files"

  • Click "Clear browsing data"
  • Restart Chrome
