Reporting Basics

There are many reports available under the Reports Tab. You can select them as Favorites and they'll pop to the top of the Reports area.

Some of our m
ost common reports are:
    • Approval Trends report shows:
      • Info on how long the proof took to review
      • The number of versions it took to be approved
      • Reviewer statistics like the percentage of proofs that were approved on the first version, second version, etc.
      • Can choose criteria for the report like:
        • Date range
        • Include/exclude archived/deleted proofs
        • Include/exclude specific reviewers (contacts and/or users), review teams, job titles (tags), or user filter groups if applicable
        • Or include all reviewers
      • Can export to PDF, CSV, Excel, Rich Text, TFF, or Web Archive
         
    • Project Lifecycle (push this one as current "kitchen sink" of project reports) report shows:
      • All projects and detailed timelines including resource allocations and review cycles
      • Can choose criteria for the report like:
        • Date range
        • Include/exclude archived/deleted proofs
        • Drag-and-drop column resorting
        • Choosing which columns show in the report
        • Email/exporting (manual) of the report in various formats to ANYONE WITH AN EMAIL ADDRESS
          • PDF, CSV, Excel, Word, or in an email (PDF, Excel, Word, or CSV)
             
There are other areas in inMotion that are live workspaces, but some people like to reference when they're looking up other data, so we like to include it in the discussion about reporting:
  • Tasks Tab
    • All Tasks (Admin Only) shows:
      • All tasks for all users
      • Complete or not
      • Project Priority and Deadline
      • Can choose criteria for the space like:
        • Drag-and-drop column resorting
        • Choosing which columns show
      • Can export to PDF, CSV, Excel, or CSV
      • Can save default view
         
    • My Tasks shows:
      • All your tasks
      • Complete or not
      • Project Priority and Deadline
      • Can choose criteria for the space like:
        • Drag-and-drop column resorting
        • Choosing which columns show
      • Can export to PDF, CSV, Excel, or CSV
      • Can save default view
         
    • Tasks by Users (Admin Only) shows:
      • A dedicated view for all tasks split out by user
      • Email/exporting (manual) of the report in various formats to ANYONE WITH AN EMAIL ADDRESS
        • PDF, CSV, Excel, Word, or in an email (PDF, Excel, Word, or CSV)
           
    • Tasks by Projects: All Progress (Admin Only) shows:
      • All tasks set for each project
      • Complete or not
      • Project Priority and Deadline
      • Can filter by Project Name and Task status
      • Email/exporting (manual) of the report in various formats to ANYONE WITH AN EMAIL ADDRESS
        • PDF, CSV, Excel, Word, or in an email (PDF, Excel, Word, or CSV)
           
    • Tasks by Projects: My Progress shows:
      • Your tasks for each project
      • Complete or not
      • Project Priority and Deadline
      • Can filter by Project Name and Task status
      • Email/exporting (manual) of the report in various formats to ANYONE WITH AN EMAIL ADDRESS
        • PDF, CSV, Excel, Word, or in an email (PDF, Excel, Word, or CSV)
           
  • Deadline Calendar shows:
    • A visual calendar representation of projects, tasks/milestones, proofs, and users
    • Can filter by projects, tasks/milestone statuses, proof deadlines, and users
    • Can hover over the items on the calendar to see:
      • Project Priority, Status, Deadline, Team Members
      • Task assignees, Deadline
      • Proof Status and the Project they belong to
